During the fall semester, Concert Band is an indoor option for students who do not wish to participate in the competitive Marching Band.  This group rehearses during 7th hour, and instruction is tailored to meet the needs of the class, with students generally performing small ensemble pieces, preparing for upcoming ensemble placement auditions, and completing short musical projects.

During the spring semester, Concert Band becomes the third of three ability-based concert ensembles at Morton High School. Concert Band performs a diverse variety of standard and contemporary wind band literature, aiming to develop and deepen students' musicianship and techincality, especially helpful to younger members of the Morton Band program. Private lessons are highly encouraged.
